ISKCON's journey in Kolhapur began with the preaching efforts of Srila Prabhupada's sincere followers who brought the message of Krishna Consciousness to this holy city. With the support of devotees and the blessings of senior ISKCON leaders, the construction of the beautiful temple of Sri Sri Radha Krishna and Sri Sri Gaura Nitai began. After years of hard work and dedication, the deities of Sri Sri Radha Madhav were grandly installed in a majestic temple, drawing devotees from Kolhapur and nearby districts to serve and worship the Lord.
